Dr. Duangdao Wichadakul is currently a lecturer at the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. Her previous research experiences in Bioinformatics included developing computational methods, tools, and web servers for predicting plant microRNAs and their targets, protein-domain analyses, vaccine design based on host’s microRNA response elements, integrated -omics data analyses, literature mining with specific domains of interest. She was also working on various analyses in a fungal genome project. Her current research interests have shifted to human and biomedicine including the analyses of WES/WGS data, machine learning, data mining, new algorithms and software platforms for various -omics data analyses together with regulatory mechanisms related to non-coding RNAs, targeting on rare genetic diseases and precision medicine.
